There are 4 seasons in Japan. Therefore, 　　　we wear right   kimonos every season.

  In spring (from Feb to May), we wear kimono called　Awase which is kimono attached the reverse of the cloth called

　‘’Doura””Hakkake”. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

  In summer (from May to Aug), Hitoe which isn’t attached 　the  reverse of the cloth is worn mainly in Jun. In July, we wear very  thin kimonos called “ Ro” “Sha”. Especially, people usually wear  Ro only Aug. In this season (from Jul to Aug), we sometimes wear   Yukata as a casual kimono. Yukata was　basically nightwear after   bathing. However, we wear Yukata 　　　when we go to summer   festivals or firework shows. This is the 　most popular style these   days.

  In Autumn  (from Aug to Nov), we wear Hitoe again until beginning of Oct. From Oct, we wear Awase again.

　In winter (from Nov to Feb), we wear Awase going on. And a coat called “ Nagabaori ” “ Dohchuugi” “Michiyuki” .
